artworksArt Works is supported by a membership of artists, galleries, theatre and art related businesses in the greater Saranac Lake, New York region. Our mission is to promote the community through the arts and help the village of Saranac Lake become the ARTS DESTINATION of the Adirondacks..

 • The Cabin Fever Classic Film Festival in March
 • Press releases, poster & publicity about art events in Saranac Lake
 • Cover art, text & pictures in Saranac Lake Visitors Guide
 • Our website - which provides contact information for all our members
 • Display Booth at the Adirondack Living Show in Glens Falls, the Lake Placid Celebration of the Arts, the Saranac Lake Village Farmer's Market
 • Display in the Saranac Lake Visitors Center, the Adirondack Business Center, and the 90 Miler Canoe Classic Banquet
 • Article & pictures in Cape Air magazine, "Bird's Eye View"
 • The Adirondack Plein Air Festival - August
 • The HoboFest Music Celebration - September
 • The Artist at Work Studio Tour - September
 • Artist postcards at the Saranac Lake Visitors Center

 • Each year at the Adirondack Plein Air Festival there is a "Paint the Town" Silent Auction and the proceeds are donated to other arts related not-for-profits in the area
        - 2009 - $1000 to the Saranac Lake Young Arts Association
        - 2010 - $1200 to Bluseed Studios
        - 2011 - $2000 to Historic Saranac Lake
 • Email announcements to promote our various art events
 • Collaboration with local government officials on community development issues
