The Artist at Work Studio Tour occurs the last weekend of September - at the peak of our fall colors.
The Tour highlights the amazing talent of the artists and craftspeople who live and work in the Tri-Lakes region (Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Tupper Lake) of the Adirondacks.
Area galleries participate with special exhibits and artists on hand to demonstrate and talk about their work. Having the opportunity to visit talented artists in their own private studios - to watch them weave, or paint, or carve, or hammer red hot iron, or shape clay on a potter's wheel, and more - is so valuable. Hear the stories behind their work and to learn about what motivates them.
